Global Wrench Tectonics, an extension of the author’s Our Evolving Planet, takes us on a ground-breaking tour of the most critical facets of Earth history. Karsten M. Storetvedt has held the chair in geomagnetism at the University of Bergen since 1973. During the late 1980´s his research interests made a profound shift from smaller scale palaeomagnetic investigations towards consideration of the global dynamic system. During the last decade his new theory of the Earth has been presented in numerous guest lectures and seminars around the world.
